Ty's sweet and adorable grandfather passed away August 17, 2009. Though our hearts are saddened, we feel blessed to know that he is no longer in pain and because of our Faith we KNOW that we will see him again.
Ty was named after this amazing man, William Tyler. Ty has always been called Ty or Tyler, but one time when he was a little boy he came and asked his mother if he could be called Bill, just like his grandpa! =) We carried his name on to our Jacob, who's full name is William Jacob.
I am so thankful that my children are old enough to remember him. I am so grateful that we spent a weekend with him making sure he was well taken care of. One cute story: One morning we were all in the kitchen making breakfast for him and he laughed and said " I feel like a King!" Well Grandpa ... to us you are! You will always be the King of our family!
We will always miss you Grandpa! We love you ...

That is such a nice post honoring an amazing man...thank you Carrie for being you! If I have heard once I have heard 500 times Grandma say...What a nice girl that Carrie is!
That is a super nice post Carrie. What a great family. That is so nice you were able to visit with him so recently. We love you guys.
